To participate in the ESL.Wiki wikibook, you do not need to provide any personal information about yourself, everyone can read or edit the Wikibook without registering.

However, the Wikibook's engine collects some information when you:

1. edit pages as an unregistered member - while saving your IP address in the history of the page you edited;
2. register as a member - with saving your email, while your email address is not publicly available and is used by the Wikibook's engine only to restore access to your account if you lose your password;
3. edit pages as a registered member - keeping your nickname in the history of the page you edited.
